It wasn't the worst movie I've seen, but it was EXTREMLY dissapointing because it was made by M. night Shamalan. The acting was pretty good, but Mark Wahlberg is much better in action movies. I wouldn't reccomend this to a friend because I (and I'm pretty sure everyone that saw this) thought it was more comedy then horrer. Also, the storyline could be much improved. A random chemical that makes people commit suicide. That's never going to happen in million years. The sad part was, they never found out what the chemical was, or wha caused it. To conlude my review, the actors should have been different. As I stated in the last paragraph, Mark Wahlgerg is much better in action movies.

This was a film where you learn 'How not to make a film'. It was absolutely terrible... I honestly can't find one good thing to say about it! Right from the opening credits I was like 'what have I just wasted my money on!'. First of all it looks like it was shot maybe early 90's.. and that's being nice. The actors were shockingly terrible... obviously poor directing because I love Mark Wahlberg! There was no climax at all, they give the answer to whats going on pretty much at the very beginning. You leave feeling pretty depressed not just because the movie ends on a bad note but because you've waited for something TO HAPPEN but nothing ever does. The Happening is just not happening!

This movie was terrible. The storyline was bad and the acting was even worse. If this was the first movie I ever saw Mark Wahlberg in I would think he was the worst actor out there but I do know otherwise. I think Shyamalan is pumping them out too quickly and not putting thought into his movies. He directs, produced and wrote this one - what does that tell you. Will be a long time before I pay to see another one of his movies.

I liked how it was jumpy. Very good and a normal brain teaser. Just like M. Night Shyamalan...

This was one of the most over-acted, formulaic, obvious movies I have ever seen. M. Night must assume the movie watching population is so dense that we require consistent bashings over the head of blatantly obvious foreshadowing. AND talk about one trendy message! YIKES

OMG this was seriously the worst movie I've ever seen! I was so disappointed cause I'm such a huge Mark Wahlberg fan and couldn't wait to see him. The trailers are totally decieving. The acting is so bad in this movie as well. I'm sure Mark is hanging his head in shame after this one!
