  A skating rink made for my brother and I. We saw Santa on 23rd December and ask for skates (we were 4 and 2 years old). Woke up looked out the window and saw - a rink in the back yard, bench covered with a blanket, fire going, a tree with 2 pairs of skates on it for us - happy and excited children - we did manage to get on our snow suits, mitts, hats and boots on. When we arrived we saw all our neighbours there with mugs of cocoa, smiles and singing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". It was a magic time as our Mom /Dad helped get our skates on and then joined by all kids in the neighbourhood.

  It's a toss up between Teddy Ruxpin which I wanted so bad and I got him for Christmas of 1987 and stayed up and played with him all night while he told me stories but then the next morning he stopped working. My Mom and Dad gave me some new batteries to put in him but he still wouldn't work so my parents took him back to the store and I didn't ever get him again. I had just one Magical Night with him that I won't ever forget plus My Dad stayed over at my Mom and I's apartment which made it even more Special. It was a Fun Christmas. But the other Greatest gift I ever got was the Playstation 2 for Christmas of 2001 and what made it so special is I didn't expect to get it at all even though I wanted it but I had no idea I would receive it that Christmas along with a game I wanted Legends Of Wrestling. My Mom really went out of her way like always did to surprise me with that one. She told me it was the last Playstation 2 left at Zellers so it was meant to be for me. Also what made it so special was it was my Dog Buffy's first Christmas with us and My Cat Kitty's last Christmas together with us. So we got to all be together which eachother and I'll Treasure and Cherish that Christmas forever! Another thing that made it special was how much My family went through that year with me being in and out of the Hospital for Ulcerative Colitis and My Parents and Family always coming to visit and hurting to see me have to spend so much time in the hospital. Infact just one year earlier for Christmas of 2000 I actually spent Christmas in the hospital but My Mom being the Hero that she's always been did everything to make a Great Christmas for me by decorating my hospital room with Christmas decorations and bringing my tv with some Christmas movies and ordering me Pizza. Plus all my relatives came to visit me. So by Christmas of 2001 we had been through so much but We always stayed humble. I didn't want my Mom to get Me anything for Christmas that year. I wanted her to save her money and to know just all of us being together was everything to me but she still surprised me anyways and that Christmas was also the first Christmas that I had just had my first surgery for Ulcerative Colitis and got out of the Hospital on Halloween that year which I wasn't able to go out and celebrate because I had to recover. So it was the first Christmas that I had to learn to adapt to my surgically repaired stomach and I wouldn't ever be the same again as far as not having a colon and having a big scar on my stomach so that Christmas was just very special and My Family like always made all the bad times good Times. So those are my favorite Christmas's and my Greatest gifts I got but the Greater gifts Truly were the moments and memories of spending Christmas with my Family which includes my pets who have always been a big part of our family and I miss them all dearly. God is Great!❤🙏

  Picking a favourite gift is almost impossible, but one of my favourite and most memorable gifts would have to be an alarm clock that my father bought me for Christmas when I was 9. It was such an odd gift for someone that age, but I loved it. That was over 30 years ago now and I still use that same alarm clock, with its digital red display, night light and am/fm radio. It's been at my bedside for 31 years and a constant reminder that my dad has always known me better than most.

  Christmas Eve last year my husband and I told our whole family that we were pregnant! Our first. We had got our niece to open a gift (she’s 6) and it had a pacifier and first outfit in the gift! Everyone screamed with joy and excitement and we were lucky because covid restrictions had lessened during that time. Later in the year we found out we were having twins.

  Oh my God My most precious Christmas was in 1985. transformers and G.I. Joe became a thing for boys but for us girls it was Jem and the holograms. And all I wanted was a Jem doll. And I was like Ralphie from the Christmas story with his face pressed up against the glass, just staring and looking at the red Ryder BB gun But when you grow up with European immigrant parents… They really didn’t know the whole And I guess you can call it for them the New World Christmas story or about Santa Claus or writing letters or even a Santa gift.. You kind of basically got what you got and don’t get me wrong I was always grateful for everything but I remember that Christmas there was no jam in the hologram doll for me but what I do remember is that there was a little box under the tree with my name on it and it look like it was written by a two year old LOL and I remember opening it and there was a pair of Star shaped earrings that were painted painted pink it was a little sparkle in the middle and they looked for they tried to look like the gem earrings I was the happiest a little 10-year-old that there was. I remember looking at my brother and he was smiling from ear to ear on how excited I was and it didn’t take long for me to realize that he was my Santa and it also didn’t help that his hands were stained pink but it was the best gift ever. And when I got older he actually did buy me a little pair of gym earrings which I still have💕

  That’s a hard one! I would have to say anything Barbie-related was my absolute favourite, especially the pool, car and kitchen. I really wanted the Dream House but my parents unfortunately couldn’t afford it :).

  My fav. Christmas was when I was 7. Santa left me a solid chocolate Santa in my stocking and I bit into it and lost one of my bottom teeth. It got stuck in the chocolate. I didn't mind a laughed all day. My tooth had been loose and I was too scared to pull it out. I left it sticki g out of the chocolate all day before my mom made me pull it out ND clean it to put it under my pillow for the tooth fairy. It was my favourite Christmas because I went around and told everyone Santa pulled my tooth out and the next day the tooth fairy paid for it!
