My favourite holiday dessert is plum pudding with brown sugar sauce. My granny used to make it so sweet and thick that the sauce should have been its own food group. We still have it every year at Christmas, even though my granny has been gone for several years. Even my kids, who don't like the plum pudding, still look forward to the sauce every year.
