Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne courtesy @ozzyosbourne instagram Ozzy Osbourne, who's known for biting the head off a bat onstage during a performance with Black Sabbath in 1982, said during a recent radio interview that he's been spending the lockdown shooting all the cats and birds that wander onto his expansive property.

Osbourne, 72, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, called it "good fun," adding "When I first started this thing, I could not shoot. Now there’s dead cats (and) birds every minute.”

Ozzy and his wife Sharon, 68, who has been making headlines of her own in recent weeks, live in Southern California. They have numerous dogs and cats of their own. However, he says when he begins shooting, his own pets "f*** off."

Ozzy also said shooting his rifle gets "me out of my head" and says he worries about his disease progressing during the COVID-19 lockdown, saying "When I am in my house, I worry I never am going to walk properly." He also added that  his pets have helped "keep him sane" as he isolates at home. ~Alexandra Heilbron

    Well I'm kinda lost for words except, ozzy's comment on how his own pets keep him sane WELL maybe those cats and maybe the birds are someone else's pets I realize their on your property but come on shooting cans etc can be just as satisfying. Mother nature won't be nice to you as your killing some of her children

    I've never forgotten that he bit the head off a live bat onstage. That's not the act of a kind human being. He is a twisted person and I hope he pays huge for this latest admission, whether it's because law enforcement comes because it's illegal to be shooting your neighbor's pets or because his fans just stop supporting him.

    I think that even if it's his property it's illegal to kill certain animals. I hope that he gets charged with animal cruelty and he goes to jail for a long time with a hefty fine. Cats will probably be found to be sentient. And birds are on the endangered list. Climate change.... Celebrities shouldn't get off Scott free for doing cruel acts. He needs a psychiatrist not a gun. It makes him feel better???? Where is his family. Probably running for cover.

Second of all the bat incident was a mistake as it was during one of his dramatic performances and he thought someone had thrown a rubber bat onto the stage.     Basically, he's confessing to crimes here. Will he be arrested and charged? Or will nothing happen because he's rich and famous? Such crimes are not taken seriously enough, and this is a serious problem in too many places. In Canada, animal cruelty is neither investigated or punished to a proper extent - of course not, this is Canada! Our so called justice system is pathetic and detrimental to animals and law-abiding humans. Just don't hurt animals or people; buy a cat or dog if you want them; and demand criminal justice reform from our elected officials.

    Been a fan since 1980 but if this is true, I will burn every Ozzy T-shirt I have. All his music (with he exception of Randy Rhoads stuff will be removed from my Spotify playlist will be forever removed and Ozzy will be dead to me. I never thought I would say that.... he can just go drop dead any day now.
