The movie was great, awesome special effects, and followed the book as best it could. The 4th book was huge and the movie tried its best to match the content, obviously the only way to include everything would mean having a 12 hr movie! I thought they did a great job of getting the most important information into the movie. The little details that make JK Rowling`s series special were missing. I still plan to see it at least 2 more times in theatre

They left a lot of the book out of the movie. I noticed that the only class that Harry went to was defence against the dark arts. I found it a bit boring. i haope that they improve the next film.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan, I`ve read every book at least a half dozen times, and I just have to say that this movie didn`t do it for me. Now, let me explain myself, I understand that the director, producers and screenwriters have to edit a lot out of the book for the movie, but they deleted whole characters and chapters. For example, Rita Skeeter, you don`t find out that she`s an animagus or that Hermoine catches her, Prof Trelawney, Winky, Dooby, Ludo Bagman, Bill and Charlie and Mrs. Weasley, the Dursleys, Cedric`s mother, the muggles at the Quidditch World Cup that are tortured by the death eaters, barely any classes, and those are all

Just horrible. Story line put together---"hack job" Acting by all young characters seemed unrealistic. Rushed production. Ending left many issues unresolved. The trophy for one. Graphics were good, as always.

Harry`s fourth year at Hogwarts was fantastic! It is very fast paced and begins to get darker making Harry Potter no longer a childish movie. I have read the book and saw the movie and they both rock and the movie has 95% of the books detailed captured. The special effects guys deserve an 11/10 on their preformace as well. FINALLY A GOOD MOVIE IS OUT WORTH SEEING! 11/10! GO SEE IT!....NOW!!!...I DON"T CARE IF YOU"VE SEEN IT ALREADY JUST GO!

i think it was the best movie of the year, but they left way to much stuf out and you couldn`t undrestand much of it if you didn`t read the novel.

amazing movie

a pretty good movie, BUT there were too many story cuts in the film. i was disappointed in that part. for example, the quidditch world cup wasn`t even shown and int he book it is. also, within 20 minutes into the movie, they were already halfway through the book. many things were also switched. like how harry knows to use the gillyweed. overall i was disappointed by these cutbacks, but in the end it is a 3 star movie. btw............the beauxbatons chicks are HOT!!!!!!!

The director should have made this movie into 2 movies. This was not as good as the others. It was much too fast, with no time for character development. Some things are left out that are important in the books. If you`re a TRUE harry potter fan, you might not enjoy this movie as much as the last three. I wish Chris Columbus would come back and direct the flims.

I love this movie<3 love everything except the worms in moody`s classroom!!! But I think the new director did a fantastic job and I couldn`t have pictured it being much better than that! It`s amazing!! oh and Cedric is SO completely hot.

IT WAZETH BEAST I SAWE

The only thing I didn`t like was the fact that the director left so much out of the movie. I actually have to say the book was better but I still loved the movie. It was HILARIOUS me and my friends couldn`t stop laughing! And I found the 3rd and 2nd movies alot scarier I wasn`t scared watching this one. Out of 5 stars I give it 3 or 4.

This was the best Harry Potter movie so far! It was also better than the third which I didn`t really like. They did leave a few things out from the book, but that`s ok. It was still awesome! I can`t wait for the fifth one.

AMAZING! Obviously not as good as the novels, but nothing can compare to that. The fourth film was definitely better than the third. The acting was magnificent, and the boys are getting cuter! It was very eventful, funny, scary.. everything in one! The new director did a great job, very captivating.. didn`t want it to end! Can`t wait to see it again! 5 Stars *****

How dissapointing!! To understand the movie one must read the book but it is through reading the book that one understands what a poor job was done on this film. It was disjointed and not easily understood. I hope this is the last Potter film this director will be allowed to ruin.

I personally like the books better than the movies but this movie was still very well directed. It was the best one yet out of all four. For anyone who is wondering why so many scenes were taken out, it`s because Mike was debating whether to make this movie a two part movie since the book itself was SO long but, if he had done that, everyone would have been disappointed. So, he took the main points of the movie and only put those on screen. Well, I loved this movie! It gave me goosebumps from beginning to end.

Lets Say it isn`t the best Potter film, but it was one of the best films this year.

That was an AWESOME movie!!!! It definately did the book justice! I was very happy and impressed with that movie!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAY HARRY POTTER! That was by far my favourite out of all the movies so far!!

While the movie was spectacular, and the new director does a phemonanal job, true hardcore harry fans may get frustrated with the few minor things he changes/adds/leaves out. but in general, those changes help the movie flow very well, and it definately was the best yet, in my opinion. and it leaves you (or me at least!) excited for the weasley twins in the 5th!!!
