Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen was arrested for driving under the influence in his home state of New Jersey.
It was revealed Wednesday that on November 14, he was arrested at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, New Jersey. According to TMZ, the singer was cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area.
A spokesperson for the National Park Service said: "Springsteen was cooperative throughout the process.” Springsteen has an upcoming court date and is expected to appear in court.
This news comes on the heels of Springsteen's first Super Bowl ad that premiered on Sunday in which he narrates and appears in the spot for Jeep. The two-minute ad has the singer delivering a patriotic message about hope and unity. The ad has since been taken down. ~Marriska Fernandes
