Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

In the wasteland of film that has been 2010 this movie is one of the bright spots. Please support this movie, the studios need to see it do well, otherwise they'll just keep making more crap.

All Canadians should watch this movie. And if you're not Canadian, you should still watch this movie. It's underrated, it's funny, the direction is very differant and incredibly done, and the trailer made the movie seem corny and stupid and it's anything but. I highly recommend this movie. They did a faboulous job at showcasing Toronto.

It was slow in the start but after 10 min it really picked up! Funny and exciting!

This movie is a nice change. Funny and quirky, a bit violent without any gore, and well done. Believe it or not, the preview trailers don't give away 90% of the movie. If you are homophobic, best stay away - you aren't going to like the acceptance of gay characters. Canadians will enjoy the references to our country . One heads up, though: If you are prone to photo induced seizures, you best be prepared to cover your eyes during the opening credits. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Brad, age 43, fan of many types of movies.

Great movie if you are somewhere between 12-16; otherwise, awful

Gotta say if you like video games you must see this film for all the old school shout-outs and over the top boss battles. If you don't like video games you must see this for the amazing humour and all the wonderful shiny stuff. The world needs more unique films like this which stand out against all the rest. Ironically since it's based from a comic series. In short, SEE THIS FILM.

Funny and very patroitic

Many funny parts but the movie was just too ridiculous. The "7 exs" was overkill. They would have accomplished the same thing with 4 exs. It carried on for way too long.

Better than I expected... this is funny, sharp and an exciting mix of mediums. Very entertaining.

The most imaginative movie I have seen in a long long time!!! You won't see this in Hollywood - or will you? The acceptance of people of all sexual persuasions, yikes! So quirky, I loved it. We went with our kids and everyone was hooked. Way to go!!!

I love Michael Cera. And I think he's great in this role. It was a really good movie, with a lot of funny scenes, and some great video game references. I can't wait to buy this on Blu-Ray.

Not What I expected, but I really liked it. It had the whole comic book and video game look and vibe with some great laughs thrown in.

Bizarre, hilarious, filled with in-jokes for comic book and video game lovers, this movie may not connect with a broad audience. But for those in the target demographic (like myself), it is absolutely fantastic. Funniest movie I have seen this year.

I didn't think I would like it. I was wrong. I loved it. Fun, unique, creative. A break from the monotony of the cookie-cutter movies.

I've been waiting so long for this movie, I was worried I would be disappointed with it. I couldn't be more wrong. I absolutely loved it. A really cute movie, with some hilarious scenes and some great comic book effects. Go see it for sure.

This movie is quirky and sometimes funny. I enjoyed it for the most part but if you don't enjoy the coolness of hipster dufuses you aren't going to enjoy this movie.

worse movie i ever seen in my life

Just brilliant! Awesome story, great music and fighting scenes with homage paid to the gaming community in every scene. If you love video games, great rock music and top notch acting and moviemaking treat yourself to this movie. Its not a teen movie. Definately in my top ten

My mind was already blown by the opening credits. The movie was overkill. Sweet, sweet, totally awesome overkill.

I think this is the bestest adaption of a comic EVER! The battles were awesome with great cinematography, the story was interesting, and there was so much to laugh at. Michael Cera needs to find a new character to play, because he plays the same guy in every movie he does. However he fit well in this movie, ad I cannot imagine anyone better for the role. One word to sum up this movie ... EPIC!!

Such a good movie, didn't expect it!!

Screen transitions were great and creative and there was rarely a dull moment. My friend and I went to the theater thinking it would be an okay movie but ended up really enjoying it!
