I`m glad I saw it but don`t want to see it again.

INCREADIBLE! I LOVED IT. IT WAS VERY PASSIONATE AND TRUTHFUL. LEO DICAPRIO NEEDS TO GET THE OSCAR THIS YEAR, BUT WILL SMITH IS ALSO A VERY DESERVING CANDIDATE. OVERALL EXCELLENT MOVIE AND WILL DEFINITLEY SEE AGAIN. GO SEE IT!

This is by far the best movie I`ve seen in a long time,Leonardo DiCaprio is fabulous in his role as a diamond smuggler. He deserves the "oscar" this year!

An excellent and eye-opening movie...graphic at times, but still a must-see.

It`s a Must See, just how we "as ir-responsible" consumers are destroying tens of thousands of lives.

Not a bad flick, but accepting this movie as unadulterated truth is as stupid as accepting batman can really fly! I guess anyone can believe what they want, but it seems to me that any movie that involves "poor Africans" (the Constant Gardener, Lord of War, etc.) is automatically accepted as "gospel" amongst the "granola" crowd. I guess "feeling bad" for someone else`s misfortunes makes them actually feel like better people!

The Best of the Year!

I thought that this was the best movie of 2006. It was just so good! I love it! It was great. Leonardo Dicaprio did an outstanding performance. This movie was just a masterpiece!

The 2nd last person to write a review is a twit!....Yes, it is a movie but at the same time the reality of the diamond industry. Some director was smart enough to transform the gruesomeness of the diamond industry into a movie so we you and i and everyone can have an idea of what is involved in acquiring diamonds. So please smarten up....it`s just not a movie but also, reality at its best

This was an all around good movie, action packed witha good story and message, I`m Never buying diamonds in my life now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What`s with all these comments about feeling guilty for buying diamonds, blaming the western world, etc....haven`t you folks heard that this is only a MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen some very good shows entertainment-wise in the past but this show is heads above them all! Well worth the money to view in a theater. Acting, story-line, intrigue, action deserve a 10 out of 10 !

Apparently the cost of diamond is high because blood is involved. What about the love for it? Would that imply that we, the consumers, are as cold blooded, canivorous beings that thirst after the blood of others indirectly through our consumption of diamonds? Very thought provoking movie...!! Worth every effort and time...go see it!!

every so often a wonderful movie comes along. a movie that has everything to it. blood diamond is that movie. it is part documentry part drama part war and part love story, it is a masterpiece, the best movie i have ever seen. Bro

Kinda dull. Overwrought, tries too hard. Very very loud. Spent a large part of the movie with my fingers in my ears due to the endless loud gunfire and screaming. The woman playing the journalist was awful. Good accent by Leo. Great scenery!

Well done. One of the top three movies of this year.

Great movie. Excellent acting and beautifully directed. I would highly recommend seeing it. It really makes you think about how lucky we are to live in Canada.

This Movie Was Great, Great perfomance all around, sometimes disturbing, kids with guns is just wrong but yet reality. Definetly for actions fans looking for a statement not just poinltess action

I see almost all new movies that come out.. and this was one of the best I have seen in a while!!! Great acting, great story.. sad.. emotional.. action.. a bit of everything! Never a dull moment. Go watch this movie, since it is the best movie in the theatres at the moment.

Blood Diamond is one of Leonardo Dicaprio`s best films. I hope he wins best actor for his role in this film for 2006. Djimon Hounsou did a remarkable job as well. Although this isn`t my type of film, I thought it was still pretty good. It was really sad to see what really happens down in those places. It really doesn`t hit you until you see movies like this, especially this one. I would recommend seeing this this film for the acting and story alone. C+

Best movie of the year!

A great movie! Great screenplay, great acting (believable accent!) and beautiful scenery. It is sad to know that people actually live like that though.

Amazing acting by all three main characters, poignant, topical issues within an exciting movie. EXCELLENT!

Although this movie was difficult to watch as the reality of the diamond industry was exploited and there was a lot of nasty scenes...it is one of my new favourites. There is so much action, a great story, every actor did an amazing job...go and see it!

Brilliant Movie!!! A great first step stopping the dirty diamond industry. (But you still cannot rely just on insisting for clean diamonds, who`s to know where they are REALLY from?)

absolutly great movie. made me want to take the diamonds out of my ears after seeing this movie.
